Open Data Meetup. Policy issues: What changes when data opens?

The meetup, organized by Open Service Innovation Observatory (OSIO) project and sponsored by Aalto Service Factory, was held February 14, 2012 in Helsinki. The event was dedicated to open data and especially the societal impact of open data. The speakers presented a variety of macro level perspectives on open data and discussed how open data is changing the citizen participation, activism, journalism and business. The event was one in the series of Open Data meetups organized by different parties and curated by the Finnish Chapter of Open Knowledge Foundation (www.okfn.org).
